IT’S CHRISTMAS, AND YOU WANT TO SHOW THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE HOW MUCH YOU APPRECIATE THEM, BUT WHAT SHOULD YOU GET?
I take a lot of pride in my gift giving skills. Someone could tell me they would love a nice coffee maker in February, and I will get it for them for Christmas. The key to being a good gift giver is knowing the person and listening to them. Here are some helpful tips this holiday season…
1. What is this person interested in? Do they obsessive follow beauty bloggers? Do they marathon Doctor Who on the regular? This is the easiest way to find a gift. Just search gifts for ____, and you are done.
2. Listen to what they say. If you are like me, you don’t want to be obvious when you are fishing for gift ideas, start a conversation on things you like. This usually ends with the person spilling the beans on their gift dreams.
3. If you are looking for something sentimental, think of all the great memories you have had with that person. If you grandmother and you had a tradition of baking pies every holiday, make a pie making kit with a promise to help her use it. This helps people with a lower budget get a meaningful gift.
I hope this helps you purchase the perfect gift!
Ciao!
