The hairbrush aisle can be intimidating, and it is easy to grab the least frightening brush and run out! However, I am here to tell you to look deeper in the aisle! Fixing your hair woes is as easy as changing out your hairbrushes!
Every hairbrush has a different use. For instance, never ever ever brush your wet hair with a regular hair brush! Always use a wide tooth comb or my personal favorite, a Goody TangleFix Brush. The Goody TangleFix Brush is made to take out tangles without damaging hair. Using a regular brush will cause split ends and pulls out healthy hair!
Or if you are one of my fellow fizz fighters, boar bristle brushes tame the frizz and spread the natural oils in your hair from root to tips. Since it moves the oils throughout, you wont have to wash you hair as often either! My favorite to use is the Goody Straight Talk Boar Styler Brush! It is inexpensive and can be found everywhere, even Walmart!
If you are someone who uses a lot of product, you can try using the new Goody Clean Radiance Paddle Brush (or an oval brush if you prefer). This brush is made with copper bristles that massage the scalp and prevent product build up!
When picking a hairbrush, always look at the bristles! Every bristle has a different purpose, and you want the ones that work best for your hair type.
MY HAIR BRUSH ROUTINE
I always use the Goody Tanglefix Brush to get rid of tangles at the end of my hair. I start at my ends to prevent damage because if you start from the roots you tear out hair. I reach for my Goody Clear Radiance Paddle Brush to massage my scalp and brush out the rest of my hair.
I then use the Goody Straight Talk Boar Styler Brush to decrease frizz, and I also use it as a volume tool! I tease my roots with it, and then I smooth it out to create effortless volume!
My favorite thing about using Goody hairbrushes is not only have I used them my whole life, but you can find all of these for affordable prices at Walmart!
