I am back in the Lone Star State and IT FEELS GOOD!
TOP THINGS I MISSED ABOUT TEXAS
- Everything being within a 5 minute reach – In Alabama, it TOOK FOREVER to get to any store or restaurant because there was no service roads, and you had to take one major highway to get anywhere! In Texas, there are service roads and roads in general galore! (Which reminds me of one thing I didnt miss – traffic and construction).
- Whataburger – I needed the best fast food burger in my life so bad! There are Whataburger’s in Alabama, but no where near where I lived. In Texas, they are on every street corner (as they should be everywhere)
- Tex-Mex/Taquerias – Also lacking everywhere else in the nation, TEX-MEX AND TAQUERIAS! Alabama never embraced spicy food like they should have. All Tex-Mex was bland, and the heat was missing. First thing I did when I made it to Texas was order myself a plate of al pastor quesadillas!
Soooo… back to talking about the update…
I love my new apartment, and I really love the area I am in! I cant wait to do more blog posts on everything! However, I am also exhausted! I just moved 12 hours, I haven’t seen any of my family or friends for almost a year, and I just started a new job.
This means people will be fighting for my weekends, and it’s going to take some time to get with my new schedule.
I am asking you all to bare with me, and I will be cutting down posts per week. Hopefully, this will lead to better posts.
Also, here is a little fun preview of what I have been doing. I am no where near ready to do a home tour, but here is a little peak of my dining area. I got a new rug from Hobby Lobby, and I am obsessed.
I also went and paid a visit to Magnolia Farms! Let me know if you are as obsessed with Fixer Upper as me in the comments!
Thank you all for supporting me, and I love you guys so much!
Let me know your favorite posts that you see here on Repressing the Crazy!
Until next time,
