If you are living the small home life, you know the struggle of feeling cramped! A cramped space can make you feel so stressed out, but no worries, here are some great hacks to make the most of your small space!
WHITE
Okay, so it doesn’t necessary need to by white, but light colors help brighten up the room and make it feel larger! Think about what color your choose to look thinner – black! Dark colors make space feel smaller than they already are.
White and light color fabrics and paint just really help a space feel larger. The light that reflects off them instantly brightens up a room!
MIRRORS
Mirrors are so key in this! If you stategically add mirrors in your home, you can trick your mind into thinking your home is larger! I love to put mirrors in small hallways and small guest rooms!
PURGE
If you have a lot of useless junk, even after all these tricks, your never going to feel relieved. Excess junk really stresses you out mentally, even if you dont realize that is the cause!

Also, pro-tip, if you are decorating with things smaller than a cantaloupe, it makes the space feel more cluttered!
STORAGE FURNITURE
Another important thing is to make sure everything has a place! This can easily be done and save space if you make sure every piece of furniture is doing it’s part!
Storage furniture is my life! My nightstands are also my dressers and my coffee table is also my bookcase!
This keeps al your junk hidden away and makes the space feel breathable!
RUGS
Rugs are also so great to separate a space and elongate a room! A lot of people have issues separating a living room and dining room space, and rugs make the transition so easy!

Jess
I have a small space too, and I really need to apply some of these tips! I’m not a big fan of white but my walls are all pretty light so that helps. One whole room of my bedroom is mirrors. I didn’t like it when I moved in but now I love how big it makes the space look! I really need to get on top of my clutter though, it’s not my best skill…
