I hate cleaning my makeup brushes. Once self cleaning brushes become a thing, I will spend my life savings on them, but until then, here is how I clean my makeup brushes!

I personally think my way is the best way because its limited supply, dries quickly and doesn’t ruin your makeup brushes.
- Gather the supplies – Shower gel and a hand towel. I do not use any type of oil because it’s easy to add too much, and I think it weighs down the bristles. I use a moisturizing shower gel instead because it creates a great balance. Fold the hand towel so when you lay the brushes on it, you can leave the brush end hanging off the towel to dry.
- Wash the brushes – First, wet the brush. Be sure not to get water into the fennel because it can ruin the brush. After it is wet, apply a dot of shower gel on your hand. Rub the brush on your hand and lather the gel into the brush. The rinse. Repeat until water is clear while rinsing.
- Dry the brushes – In the fold of the hand towel, press down and wring the water out of the brush. Then place the handle of the brush on the towel, and let the bristles hang off the end to dry. Let dry for the rest of the day
That’s how I wash my brushes. What are your tips?
