No matter how old I get, I still love grilled cheeses, banana popsicles and Kellogg’s® Eggo® Homestyle Waffles.
As an adult, I have really learned to love Kellogg’s® Eggo® Homestyle Waffles in a different way than my childhood. They are such an easy and quick breakfast or snack! I love throwing almond butter, apples and a little honey on them for breakfast – or topping them with a fried egg and a piece of ham.
But my favorite way to incorporate Kellogg’s® Eggo® Homestyle Waffles is with ice cream!
I love making a quick Kellogg’s® Eggo® Homestyle Waffles ice cream sandwich when I get the urge for a sweet snack in the middle of my binging watching.
PLUS: Delicious News! Eggo waffles now have no artificial flavors and colors from natural sources.
AND the Eggo Waffle Truck is traveling to Walmart across the country to give you a chance to try a waffle creation! The truck is going to be in my area this weekend, and I am so excited to check it out!
The Waffle Bar Truck will move a total of 200 times over 100+ days. The truck started in April and will continue through September!

The whole event inspired me to share my recipe with you! So all you need is four simple ingredients that you can find at your local Walmart!
INGREDIENTS (SERVING SIZE: 1) :
1 Tbsp Jif® Creamy Peanut Butter
1 Scoop of Breyers® Natural Vanilla Ice Cream
1 Kellogg’s® Eggo® Homestyle Waffle
1 Kellogg’s® Eggo® Chocolatey Chip Waffles
INSTRUCTIONS
I am not a huge fan of peanut butter, but I love it on an Eggo waffle or covered in chocolate! This is why I chose to get the Kellogg’s® Eggo® Chocolatey Chip Waffles, along with the homestyle.
Start by putting one of each Eggo® waffle in your toaster. Once they have popped out, place them on a plate and let them cool for about 10 minutes in the fridge. If the waffles are not cool in 10 minutes, keep them inside until they are.
Afterwards, spread the Jif® Creamy Peanut Butter on one of the waffles.
Then, take the scoop of the Breyers® Natural Vanilla Ice Cream and pop it right on top of the peanut butter.
Finally, squeeze the waffles together and enjoy your tasty dessert! Warning, these things are rich and delicious!
If you want to make these in bulk, you can freeze them for a special occasion like the Fourth of July or a graduation party!
