If you are anything like me, gift giving season is the best season – except for when the person you are buying for already has everything.
I wish I could buy for people like myself who are fascinating by everything at every store, but some people have very select interest. And you always want to get someone something they would actually like – making it even harder.
Plus, I hate giving out money and gift cards. I feel like they aren’t personal enough, and they require more work from the other person.
The key tip is to learn what the person you are buying for enjoys. If they enjoy cooking, maybe there is something cute to add to their kitchen.
Because if the person has everything, you have to think of the things they haven’t thought of!
If they enjoy drinking wine, there are a million wine accessories that I am sure they do not have.
I have created a list I have created for those people in your life that seem to have everything, but you want to get them a gift anyways.
For a quick shop, browse here:
For the Movie Fan
My best friend and I love movies – but she is far better at loving them than I am. If you have someone in your life that pays a small fortune on movie theater tickets, they are sure to love a movie themed gift.
This 100 Movies Scratch Off Poster will give them a goal all year long! And once they complete it, they have a pretty cool poster!
For the Person that’s Missing Home
I work in an industry where most people move far away for their jobs. When I moved to Alabama, I missed tacos and Whataburger so much.
If you know someone who misses their home state or just loves their home state, this candle and this typography art would be perfect for them.
Also, if you know someone who misses someone from far away, this cool little gadget is great. You buy two of the lights, and when one person in one place touches it, it lights up in the other place.
For the Book Lover
For those out there who still read (I do), a candle that reminds you of a literary classic would be a perfect gift!
For the Sports Fan
The guys in my life are sports fanatics. If I have to hear one more conversation comparing the weight of athletes I might die.
However, they are easy to gift because you just get some merchandise from their favorite team.
I love these prints of baseball stadiums!
For the Person who Loves a Good Time
For your friend that is always adding to their bar cart, a gift that compliments that is fun and festive. I got wine socks for my birthday, and I absolutely loved them!
Plus, this to-go margarita kit is convenient and cute.
And, if you have a classier friends, get them a whiskey glass with a map of their favorite city.
For the Person that is always Cold
I am a hoarder of blankets, and I firmly believe I cant have enough.
If you know someone like that, the fuzzier and fluffier the blanket – the better! I love this one from Pottery Barn!
For the Person who Loves Lists
I am a compulsive list maker, and I have always loved getting special notebooks and stationary to feed my hobby.
The 52 Lists for Happiness and My Life Story have been on my wishlist for a while!
And for the lover of lists that loves humor, a bathroom guestbook is perfect.
For the Gardener
If you know someone with a green thumb (or wishes they had a green thumb), a cute DIY herb garden is a perfect gift!
For the Techie
If you are buying for someone who has too many devices to keep track of, a charging station is not only fun, but it is practical!
We need one of these in my house!
I hope this helps! Happy day 6 of Blogmas!
How do you pick gifts for the person who has everything?
