Every time someone gives me a card, I keep it in a little basket in my bookcase. I love to look through them from time to time – and my favorite ones are Christmas cards!
During the holiday season, I really love to display my Christmas cards, but they always fall over and are more of a hassle than a decoration.
This year, I created a super easy pallet board to hang my Christmas cards on.
SUPPLIES
A long pallet board (can be found at Walmart, Hobby Lobby or Michaels)
Nails
Hammer
Blue Painter’s Tape
Paint Marker
Twine
Stain
Foam Paint Brush
Small Clothespins
HOW TO
First, using the blue painter’s tape, create an outline of a Christmas tree. Leave the bottom two planks free for later.
Then, stain the pallet board.
Once the board is dry, you can remove the tape to show the design. At the bottom, I wrote “Merry Mail” on the last two planks.
You can add more paint to the design – you can really make it into anything you want it to be!
After the paint dried, I hammered in nails on the top planks. Then, tie the twine around the nails.
Finally, attach your cards with cute little clothes pins!
Do you still send Christmas cards?
