If you are a lover all of all things mints and chocolate (Andes mints anyone?), I am sure you are a fan of peppermint bark! This peppermint bark recipe comes right in time for Christmas Eve!

I made this recipe with milk chocolate to please the masses, but I highly recommend dark chocolate if you are into that. To be honest, I will probably be making a second batch with dark chocolate just for myself!
I also used crushed candy canes to stay in the Christmas spirit – but regular peppermints are okay too.

Ingredients
12 ounces white chocolate bark
12 ounces chocolate bark
1 pkg peppermints or candy canes
2 tsp peppermint extract
Instructions
1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
2. Crush the candy canes in a plastic bag or food processor
3. Melt milk chocolate according to directions on the package
4. Pour chocolate onto pan and spread evenly with a flat spatula
5. Place in refrigerator for 20 minutes
6. Melt white chocolate according to directions on the package
7. Add peppermint extract to white chocolate
8. Pour white chocolate onto pan and spread evenly
9. Pour crushed candy cane or peppermint over white chocolate
10. Place in refrigerator for 20 minutes
11. Break up the bark in your preferred size pieces – I am a fan of little squares
