There are some perks of living in Waco – like going to the opening of the Magnolia Table! I wanted to give everyone a sneak peek of what to expect when you make the trek to eat some great breakfast or brunch food!
Warning, to get to the restaurant, you have to get on what locals call “the circle”. Usually, the circle isn’t very busy – but after their opening, it is going to be a little crazy. Basically, just prepare for some interesting driving.
When you arrive at the Magnolia Table, you are immediately greeted by Magnolia staff, and they open the door for you. This is nice because you are probably perplexed by the circle by this point.
The restaurant is everything you can expect from Magnolia – farmhouse decor, original floors from the Elite café (the previous well-known restaurant that was at the location) and every detail is quintessentially Fixer Upper – even the checkbook.
There is a glass jug of water waiting for you when you sit down, and the menu gives you a great selection of breakfast and lunch options.
They also have a coffee bar that you MUST try! I had the lavender latte, and it was amazing.
We tried a variety food on the opening day – Chip’s Ham Sandwich (everyone said it was amazing), the farm breakfast, farm eggs benedict and their chicken salad.
Everyone in my party loved the food – and they had a juice flight that you can check out!
After my first visit, I was super impressed with the speed of the service. The wait time was only 35 minutes.
Granted, this was a surprise opening – so only locals could go. However, there were so many staff members, I expect them to handle all of their fans in a timely manner!
When do you plan on visiting the Magnolia Table?
