Spring break is coming up, and if you are like me, a big trip is not in the cards. However, a shorter trip within the state is totally possible.
Texas has so many great things to offer, and there are so many things I have not done – even though I have lived here most of my life.
I created this list of great destinations in Texas to go for spring break!
Big Bend National Park
Spend spring break outside at Big Bend National Park! This is right on the Mexican border, and it is absolutely beautiful.
There are amazing hiking trails, rivers and all sorts of outdoor sports!

San Antonio Riverwalk
One of my favorite places in Texas is the San Antonio Riverwalk!
It is very European, and there is so much to do in San Antonio!

Port Aransas
Port Aransas is my favorite beach in Texas! If you are looking to get your toes in the sand, this is probably this best choice without leaving the state.
It is a great place to take in the Texas sun and relax.

New Braunfels
Hill Country is honestly my favorite part of Texas. The rivers are amazing, the nature is amazing, and the atmosphere is amazing.
Rent a cabin or a house, and take in the hill country!
