If you have ever walked through every single aisle at Target and saw the cardboard dinosaurs and thought, “what could I do with that?” – this post is for you.
I have been wanting to do a project with them for years, but I could never found out what I wanted to do. After getting some inspiration from fall, I made these super cute tribal painted dinosaurs.
Plus, if you have kids, this is a great project for them – and you can keep it forever.
It was so easy to make these, and all you need is the figures, chalk paint and markers.
For starters, use chalk paint to paint the dinosaurs. This works with any figurine you decide to add a boho flair to. I chose chalk paint because it leaves a nice matte finish and is easy to mark up with later.
Let your paint completely dry before drawing with markers! There are a ton of tribal designs to chose from, so pick whatever matches your fancy.
I Googles tribal prints and free-hand marked the dinosaurs up. I alternated with about four colors and tried to keep is warm and chic.
I absolutely love how they turned out, and it was so therapeutic to make these!
