I have a confession to make. Until this project, I have never painted a pumpkin. Painted pumpkins were never something I even had in my autumn decor scheme.
For my entire life, I have been a carve only girl. I love carving pumpkins, and I make an even of it every year. However, this year, I bought a ton of plastic pumpkins and found myself wondering what to do with them.
I was working on my decor on the outside of my door when I decided to get some copper paint and add some tribal marking to my pumpkins. Painted pumpkins are great because you can use them year after year!
To be honest, my hands are super shaky, so it was brave of me to paint these free-handed. However, I love how they turned out. They let people know before they come in my house, they are going to be showered with pumpkin.
I probably should hold a giveaway to see who can guess how many pumpkins are in my house.
Maybe I will… stay tuned.
Plus, I had already purchased succulent arrangements in pumpkins, so they looked well together!
