Weird confession: I have always wanted to get married on Halloween (if that ever happens). I love halloween and the deep colors it brings out (oh and I love pumpkins).
This year, my sister and I got matching tattoos of a moon and a sun with flowers. I am the moon, and she is the sun. This inspired me to make some flower art on a pumpkin!
I used flowers to make a crescent moon on a black pumpkin. I think it looks super spooky chic (my new term that I have coined). This can go on your fireplace mantel, entryway or even on your porch. It is a different spin on the plastic pumpkin we all love.
This project is great to do with kids or with friends because its quick and not messy at all! Just make sure an adult used the needle (seriously, I poke myself all the time).

INSTRUCTIONS
Cut the stems of your flowers to where each flower has its own stems. You will want the stem to be about 2 inches long so it can stay secured in the pumpkin.
Using your need, create holes in a pattern of a crescent moon. I did this one at a time so I could get the shape perfect.
Insert the stems into the holes of the pumpkin.
BAM! You are done, and you are spooky chic!
