I am so happy to finally have the opportunity to make a post all about my sister thanks to a partnership with our favorite show growing up, Charmed.
In case you haven’t been on social media, The CW is bringing back Charmed – the classic tale of three sisters coming together to learn they are witches. Also, they kick demon on the daily basis because they are stronger together.
The Charmed series premiere is on October 14, Sunday 9/8 p.m. CT on the CW.
Growing up, my sister and I would watch reruns of the original series with my mom before she went to work. I remember focusing really hard on objects to try to make them move with my mind, but unfortunately, that never happened.
Charmed is all about witches and the supernatural – two topics that I have always been very interested in. I was always waiting on my time to discover I had something literally magical about myself (aside from my charm and personality).
No matter how much I tried, I never became a witch. However, in my adult life, I have created a bond with my sister that could be considered magical (that’s my corny line of the month).
My sister moved in with my last year, and I did not think I wanted to live with my sister. I loved living by myself. I could wear pajamas all day, sleep in whenever and eat whatever I wanted. The last thing I wanted was to live with my little sister that drove me crazy growing up.
A year later, I do not know how I lived without her (although, I would probably eat a lot less junk food). She is my rock, and she helps me navigate life on the daily. I am there for her when she hits a curb and her tire won’t move, and she is there for me when I am crying in my bed for no reason.
I have more energy and more focus than ever before. And, I hope you noticed in the last year that my blog has had better content. This is all because sisters are stronger together.
We even got matching tattoos!
We cannot wait to sit on the couch and watch the series premiere on Oct. 14!
