I am not going to be cute here, 2018 was not a good year for me. These next few days cannot go by quickly enough.
But there are 365 days in a year, so there were a few things that kept me going – even if it was just a fancy vacuum (yes, that’s how little I think of 2018).
So, here were the things that gave me a little relief from the chaos and anxiety that 2018 brought:
Nia Pin Tufted Convertible Sofa
This sofa looks amazing in my living room. I had been pinning over a statement couch for years, but I was too afraid to take the plunge.
This couch also flattens out into a twin size bed. It is super soft and very easy to clean. It was the first piece to inspire me to go hog-wild eclectic.
Ninja Coffee Bar
I haven’t had my Ninja Coffee Bar for long (my sister got it for me for my birthday), but it has changed my coffee making life.
Usually, I make coffee in a Keurig. Now, I can make macchiatos, lattes, iced coffees, etc. And they are all environmentally friendly! Plus, I spend so much less money because it tastes just like Starbucks.
Grown Alchemist Hydra-Restore Cream Cleanser
I started using this new cleanser I got in my FabFitFun box, and it has cleared up my dry spots. Typically, I have really bad dry patches between my eyebrows.
Ever since I started using this, it has gotten significantly better. The cleanser is very creamy, and I don’t have to worry about it drying out my skin!
RUSK thickr Mousse
I cut my hair really short this year, and I have really fine hair. So, I have been trying so many ways to make my hair look fuller.
My hair is very unique – I have tons of hair, but it is all very fine. This mousse has really changed my life. I use it every time I. was my hair. I need some kind of texture, and this adds that and more.
If you have fine hair, this will change your life.
Shark APEX DuoClean with Zero-M™
Okay, this thing changed my life. I have two wonderful doggies who shed as if they hate my guts.
There is dog hair on the couch, bed, curtains. It is in my food, my car, my clothes – everywhere.
This vacuum is dog hair’s worst nightmare. It has attachments that attack dog hair like no body’s business.
My favorite part it that it is so easy to take it apart and fix it. Nothing ever gets real stuck where it becomes cumbersome.
Cube Organizers
I got new organization for my office this year, and I finally feel like it is a functional space.
It feels great to walk in there and not have boxes strewn everywhere.
Chobani Flips
My mom introduced me to Chobani Flips this year, and they are my new favorite things! I don’t even need ice cream anymore (okay, occasionally I still need ice cream), but they are delicious!
They have so many flavors, and they are such a great substitute for other sweets.
INNER GARDEN 3 print from Society6
I have had my eye on this piece of art from Society6 forever. I am so glad I finally was able to buy it. This piece is just how I feel all the time.
Outdoor Hammock
During this summer, I spent a lot of time in this hammock. I have fell out of this hammock. I have napped in this hammock.
This hammock has seen tears. In this hammock, I decided to get matching tattoos with my sister. This hammock was one great choice.
Holly Sollinger Floralista wallpaper
I ordered this wallpaper to make me hate my outdated tiny kitchen less, and guess what, it worked! I love looking at this wallpaper instead of the old grapes!
It also is a statement to how I embraced color and patterns this year.
What were you favorites of 2018?
