I wish I would have taken an interior design class when I was in college – but I didn’t, so I read books instead. Pinterest has always been an amazing source of inspiration, and I follow a ton of talented home decor bloggers – but I like taking it a step further.
Last year, when I decided to begin to shift Repressing the Crazy’s focus to home decor, I had a lot of obstacles to deal with (am still dealing with). For starters, I still need new floors in my house, and I don’t have fantastic lighting.
AND, I need different lenses for home decor photos. My portrait lenses aren’t really made for taking pictures of rooms.
But, aside from all of those issues, I really wanted to learn more about the “science” behind my niche. I have always had a knack for home decor, crafting
So – I started reading.
