I am not a kindergarten teacher anymore, but I still end up making crafts for my coworkers like I am one. I firmly believe in the spirit of Halloween, and I wanted to lift the spirits of the newsroom.
What better way to do that than with a pumpkin craft?
I immediately thought that I needed to make tissue paper pumpkin treat holders. This probably is better suited for children, but it is a fun and easy craft nonetheless.
If you are looking for a way to impress your child’s classroom, these pumpkins are easy to make and involve absolutely no baking. I made about 20 of them in 30 minutes.
Plus, your coworkers will love them (or at least mine did).
YOU WILL NEED
Candy
Orange tissue paper
Green pipe cleaners
Pencil or pen
INSTRUCTION
Cut the tissue paper into squares
Layer two tissue squares on top of each other. Place the candy in the center of the tissue and bunch the paper around it.
Twist the paper together and wrap it shut with the pipe cleaner. Wrap the excess pipe cleaner around a pen to make a swirly vine.
You are done!
