It’s crazy to watch how your style evolves. Last year, I made two rustic-themed wreaths, and this year, I am going for a Scandinavian wreath. They are two polar opposite sides of design.
If you were following Blogtober, you might have caught my fall wreath. I made my Christmas wreath very similar, and I bought all my flowers and greenery at Hobby Lobby.
When you step on my front stoop, I want you to know you are about to walk to into Christmas. I have really been digging Scandinavian-themed décor, and I have been incorporating it into my eclectic style.
I used my wreath as a design focal point for my entryway. I love using natural elements, so we went to the local Christmas Tree farm to a small tree. Also, I have been loving matte black for the holiday season, so I decided to create a chalkboard from one of my cabinet doors I removed in the kitchen.
This process was so easy. I just painted the door with chalkboard paint – can’t get simpler than that!
I also had a little windchime from last year that I spray painted black. This is the first year that I realized I am going to need to learn how to repurpose my Christmas décor every year to match my ever-changing style.
What is your favorite holiday style?
